The Pamlico County Committee of 100

The Pamlico County Committee of 100, a network of business leaders, elected officials and county residents, is educating people without business experience and working with those who do, coordinating with developers to learn and establish alternative gray-water systems and becoming a catalyst between land owners and developers to combine the interests of residential and commercial properties.

The Committee has been instrumental in bringing new events to the county, connecting mayors from the nine townships, hosting political candidate forums and sponsoring and supporting non-profit events.

The mission of the Pamlico County Committee of 100 is to serve as a catalyst for stimulating economic development and to develop cooperative solutions to community issues by working with the Chamber of Commerce, County Planner, town and county governments, the Mayors’ Association, educational institutions, elected officials and other interested citizens and to encourage qualified, business-oriented candidates with a commitment to cooperative government to run for local public office.
