2008 Candidate Forum on Growth and Economic Development Issues

Proudly following in Frieda Hudson's long-standing tradition, the Pamlico News and the Committee of 100 will jointly host a candidate forum at PCC Delamar Center on October 1.  We have invited all of our candidates for state and local office to discuss their views on growth and economic development for Pamlico County, and to respond to your questions on those issues.

Change is happening in Pamlico County -- some would say "happening to Pamlico."  Some like it, some don't, and some would like to pick or choose some part of it.  Some want to try to manage it, some think it is unmanageable, and some just hope it goes away.

Whatever your views on change, and whatever your views on growth and economic development - we want your opinion.  And, related to these issues, we also would like to know the questions you would pose to our 2008 slate of candidates.
